If I was PM
August 16th 2008 06:10
If I was Prime Minister of Australia, I would make sure that no-one works more than 40 hours a week, I would abolish the loan system for university students and make sure that in order for you to collect unemployment benefits you must work in some capacity.
I would make sure that every Australian has five make good days a year where if you don't feel like working on a particular day, you don't.
I would make sure that every single community has an acceptable living standard, where the prices of groceries and fuel are the same in every single community.
I would also make sure that every single Australian has the right to a proper education.
I would make sure that funding is distributed evenly to every community so people in rural areas would have the same access to services as their city counterparts.
I would make sure every single Australian has access to healthcare, not just the rich.
I would make sure that no-one is disadvantaged because of their gender, age, race, sexual preference or if they have a disability.
I would make sure that every Australian feels safe in their own home and community.
I would put funding into rural communities so basic entertainment facilities like cinemas, pubs, clubs and restaurants are available to every single Australian within a reasonable distance.
Every single Australian would be important to me.

Oh yes, Kevin Rugg is already planning to do that. Hopefully, the conservative are not going to start campaigning for the Queen with some sort of "King is god's given right" bu shit, all man and woman are equals, you know?
